Status Updates From Manifeste du parti communiste

Don't know if this is an edition or a formatting difference, but the version I am reading (the 1888 translation by Andy Blunden ) ends on page 82 including the preamble and prologue from the translator. In both chapter 3 & 4, Socialist and communist literature, and position of the communists on other parties, the organization of communist and socialists are delved into, now venturing from principles and goals.

Love to see

- women's place in society restored
- end of nepotism
- THE OWNING CLASS being called the lazy ones, if we usd their definition
- end of child labour
- education as a social right for all

There's still some xenophobia, but other things like abolition of capital and fam wealth which feels radical is easily explained why and how it'll be done or needs to.

Im not a communist, but figured I should read this so I know what people are talking about when they talk about communism, and know how people are wrong when they talk about communism.

So far a lot of it is going over my head and I do agree with some of his points so far. It's obviously very old and im not used to reading things from the 1800s, so its kind of a struggle.
