Status Updates From Crash

I started this a while ago on a friend's reccomendation (so to speak) and will get back to it soon enough. What I can recall is feeling like the book strikes a balance beween insight and farce. Perhaps it's just that I'm not particularly into cars. I am 'enjoying' it, don't get me wrong. But I wonder whether I am supposed to; is any of the signature matter-of-factness played for shock or comedy? Or is it all sincere?

Probably the worst book to read on my commute…
