this book is really well written so far, imo. the characters are interesting and well rounded. it sorta starts in media res, a war that lasted over 120 years just ended and we are at the peace festival i like this setting because its similar to old man's war by scalzi. hostile unknown galaxy full to burstin g with enigmatic hostile xenos species humans are the tenacious once endangered, underdogs and i love it!
