I feel absolutely nothing for these characters, they're all disgusting. I should've known that a book about how straight people are oppressed in the future would probably piss me off. But no, I thought the concept sounded interesting. I think I'm going to DNF this book, because it's getting pretty stupid.

I am already so sick of these different POVs. Every time it switches, the character describes the event that ALREADY JUST HAPPENED again. I feel like the author thinks it's dramatic to tell us how each character feels about the event that happened and I frankly just do not give a damn. Get on with the story. The plot is good so far, c'mon.

What?!?! How can it end there?! Part 3 was pretty heartbreaking and then in the Epilogue, Echo and Chokyong were on the porch and heard jet engines, saw a nuclear flash, and...and??? Who knows, as THE BOOK JUST ENDED! Argh!!! Was the ghetto bombed? All dead? Any survivors? Why did it end without telling us? ARGH!!!

Just finished Part 2 and I'm definitely invested in this story now. Tax Man 16 is sooo not a good guy. One of the primary characters was killed, but not by The Tax Man, to my everlasting surprise. Bad things are happening to pretty much every main character. So I just have to keep reading. ;-)

I just finished Part 1. I'm not sure what to say about this story so far. It's interesting, in the sense that it's a dystopian story like none other I have ever before read. But I am not particularly enjoying it. It's well-written, though, so I'll keep reading. I do want to know what's going to happen to Gemini, Cyan, Anand, and Donys. But I have that feeling like one slowing to look at an accident when out driving.
