Capital is an insane asylum, death machine, negation of reality, reign of fiction & has accumulated every kind of infamy & injustice, exploitation & genocide
Joy is arming itself. Its attack is overcoming commodity hallucination, machinery, vengeance, the leader, the party, quantity
XI
We're certain that communities of joy will emerge from our struggle here & now & for the first time life will triumph over death

The illusory game of capital, the commodity spectacle, must be substituted with the real game of the armed struggle against it, destroying the unreal and the spectacle.
IX
Arms are just one tool of many that we have at our disposal to fight capital, but if we just do that we'll be chained to arms and lose. If we use all tools with joy, capital cannot fight joy.
X
If you deny the spectacle you're a lunatic!

Hurry to attack capital before a new façade makes it sacred to you!
Hurry to refuse work before some new sophist tells you yet again that 'work makes you free'!
Hurry to play!
Hurry to arm yourself!
VIII
No need to put up your own façade to k*ll a policeman like the courts do when they kill us all. It's a battle of joy vs all.

If the struggle for liberation is extinguished, self-management becomes nothing other than self-management of one's own exploitation.
If the struggle is victorious, self-management of production becomes superfluous as organisation of production would be counter-revolutionary.
VI
We have never experienced joy, only forced ourselves to, with weekends, vacations, and the other little times off work. Joy is no work.

Smash the need for work, but also smash preconceptions of revolution and be human, be free.

Introduction
Written from the events of Italy in 1977
I
Revolutionaries are a pious folk. The Revolution is not a pious event.
II
Capitalism and those fighting it sit alongside each other on the producer's corpse, but production must go on.
III
Man is not apart from nature. The destruction of nature is a result of our superiority complex.

Joy is arming itself. Its attack is overcoming the commodity hallucination, machinery, vengeance, the leader, the party, quantity. Its struggle is breaking down the logic of profit, the architecture of the market, the programming of life, the last document in the last archive. Its violent explosion is overturning the order of dependency, the nomenclature of positive and negative, the code of the commodity illusion.

this is so interesting. he’s saying that work is bad, and the answer is communism. he also goes on to say that christianity and revolutions go hand in hand.

Reading online so not sure exactly how far in I am.
I don't usually write anything on progress updates but I feel like I need to here because the AMOUNT of purple prose in this thing is driving me insane. You'd think that a SHORT text covering a topic as revolutionary as anarchy would be more concise + convincing than this.
Usually I'd abandon it but anarchy is interesting so I'm giving this another try tomorrow

it’s really informal and i can’t tell if i like it. one sentence will go “let us see what this does” and the next is four fancy words together and the inconsistency bothers me
