Chapter 7 describes how you cannot judge someone else, or you will be judged. If you do judge someone else, it simply goes to show the fact that your predicament is lesser than the one you are judging. I know that this applies to my life, as I know it is bad, but I still do it and judge others. That needs to change.

The books states the fact that you have you must forgive your enemies before you are forgiven, which I find to be fair and totally true. How do you expect someone, God of all, to forgive you when you can not even forgive those who have wronged you? We must be like Jesus, and he forgave mercifully, and he was a human. Why can't we?

As I read, what caught my eye was John the Baptist. He was surprised when his cousin, Jesus Christ, had come to be baptized. It was said to be the greatest moment in Christian history at that moment, as it signified the beginning Jesus' ministry. I found it amazing how humble John was, as I had learned about him from my Mom.
