I love that this is SO plot heavy.

This is why I should just stop listening to what people say online… more than half the time they give me the wrong impression of books. smh.

It's going the way I don't want it to go. I was hopeful that now that we are no longer in the setting of the cruel court and their hedonistic tendencies, it would be a better playground. Except now I'm finding the relationship between Laurent and Damen quite unrealistic (and fast). It feels uninspired with often the same tricks. Rolling my eyes at the last chapter.
