This book is a trash fire, but the hero attempts to have a 100% non-squeamish discussion about birth control and periods with the heroine and I love it.

I really like that this is a hero who's a tough guy but also gets into the heroine's bed to cuddle.

She really is too dumb to live.

The heroine attempts to maintain the moral high ground and convince everyone and herself that she's a force for good while at the same time protecting a human trafficker.

The heroine is a ninny and I keep on hoping for a late reversal that makes Soledad the heroine.

The banter is so bad. So bad. Also, does Anne Stuart understand how the asylum process works? And Jenny is basically attempting to prostitute her client to get her a green card?

The heroine has helped a potential human trafficker escape but is still complaining about how the hero is so unjustifiably suspicious of her?

Oh Ryder. It is only a matter of time.
