Already annoyed that the story starts at 15% of the book. Endless pages of 'praise the author', hate it.
And if the book is basically The Purge meets Running Man (the movie): I'll be fundamentally pissed!

The most ridiculous thing about this pretentious piece of pseudo social commentary is how Hicks lets his main character basically give a big speech about not being so divisive and hate filled while he has just painted the other side of the political aisle he obviously despises in the most vile and atrocious light possible over the course of the whole story.
