Status Updates From It's Not Your Journey

I'm finding I can relate to the author a bit, and find her words of wisdom here and there uplifting, despite the general down-ness of the book.

One of my choir directors in school used to tell us that if we (as a choir) made at least one person in the audience cry, then we had done our job. I may not be a hard nut to crack, but I think someone's done their job. (I'm not crying for me, I'm crying for the author.)
