And I'm sorry, if a complete stranger approached me about a job, with absolutely no details, there is no way on God's green earth that person would be picking me up at my home to take me to the interview. And if I was TSTL enough to do that, and the "interview" turned into "strip and put on a hospital gown and give blood and urine for a physical", I'd be out the door and calling the police.

This seems to predate Jodi Taylor's time travel series by a year, so if there's a rip off going on it's probably not Lisa Goldstein - but this does sound a lot like St. Mary's. With a much, much, MUCH less enjoyable narrator. (So much less that I may not make it much longer....)

I get that this is time travel, which is improbable in itself, but some of the leaps of thought here defy logic.
