I knew this all the way along in the first 4 books and then the start of this that Alan was all of Chrissie’s kids dad. Jesus Christ! This is so twisted and fucked.

Why can’t I look away and stop reading? I’ve been unable to put these 5 books down and it’s exhausting. I’m exhausted. 70 pages left. I can do this before I actually lose it mentally.

I'm not sure if I like how this was written. His flashbacks are not revealing much of new facts, most of his reminiscing are repeating facts already told by Chrissie throughout The Half Shell series... that is quite disappointing.
