Status Updates From The Beat on Ruby's Street

Finished - but I am reviewing after I read the 2nd book too.

maybe too early to judge but what kind of life is this 🙃

Got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Think this one might be more my style than the previous one, so excited to read!

I think I'm going to have to DNF this one. I wanted to like it and it's written really well but it's just not my thing.

Done! After an initial stumble, I caught Ruby's beat like a ball to a glove. Though hipster now, it was Beat then and while the style may not always appeal, the message transcends any generational gaps.

Just started but it's a bit of a compulsory read. You just catch the beat and step right into the story.
