Hillary Johnson is finished
This book gives a picture, albeit small or blurry as we will never know what it was truly like because we did not live it, of slavery through the eyes of human beings that were enslaved in America. It did educate me on the terror slavery was (and is). This kind of book is definitely a treasure to be able to read the truth of what happened as told by the person it happened to. This is a very important book.
