Status Updates From First Season / Bride to Be

So far, I am not feeling this book at all. Don’t like the way the author wrote about cousin Georgina, nor do the main characters show any spine.

Who am I supposed to be rooting for in this book? No one is likable.

I’m reading BRIDE TO BE; FIRST SEASON has been so roundly panned that I’m skipping it. Some of JA’s earlier stuff (of which this is one) can be disappointing in terms of character, plot, and theme, especially if you started with her later work, though the language and setting are always reliable. So far I’m really enjoying this one!

I am chapter 7 and really love this book. It is a daily email and it keeps me wanting more.

NINNY!!! This woman is an absolute idiot. I think my head's about to explode. I was really enjoying the beginning...now I just want it to end.

Didn't care for First Season. So far, I'm enjoying Bride to Be

I'm struggling with First Season. So, far there is no depth to any of the characters. I suspect that is because it is written omniscient POV.

Everybody has a POV, including the dog.
