Status Updates From Hiawatha and the Peacemaker

The art is gorgeous & as a former resident of upstate NY I am thrilled to see the work of The Great Peacemaker & Hiwatha made more widely-known -- but this is a heavily sanitized, heavily truncated version of their story. And it suffers as a result. :(

Being a former resident of upstate NY and a current resident of the Pacific Northwest, I was ECSTATIC when i found this at a local Barnes & Noble store -- and then dismayed when i had to repeatedly explain to people that, no, Hiawatha was actually a real historical figure whose name was taken for the Longfellow poem's protagonist even though there was no relation between them.
