Status Updates From Sonic the Hedgehog #43 #43

Part 3: Sonic enters King Acorn’s memories and finds Tim. He’s reliving a memory of an actual event, where he encountered Kodos and Feist. Sonic explains everything to avoid confusion, and eventually, King Acorn wakes up.

Part 2: The dream sequence is from King Acorn’s perspective as he’s still catatonic in his crystallized state. Dr. Quack has another idea: the dream watcher. It’s able to connect one person to another, creating a “dream zone”. Sonic is the willing participant.

Part 1: Rotor and Dr. Quack theorize that placing King Acorn’s in a cell regeneration chamber will reverse his crystallization process. The procedure fails. A flashback sequence plays, recapping the events of how the war started and how Robotnik gained power.
