Caroline's writing here feels so different to the writing style of the books that she has with her sister. I'm not finding it engaging but I'm pretty sure this was her first book (I literally had to order it from Germany through Amazon).

I just started this book. I'm really hoping that it is at least a 3 star read because at this point I'll count it as a win. I don't know if the books I'm reading are getting worse or if I'm just becoming a harsher rater because I've read so many books at this point.
