Good lord this is a slog. I honestly could not tell you what happened in the reading I did last night, because I wasn't sure wtf was happening at the time. He keeps like astral projecting out of his jail cell? There's a demon and a dragon who are there but aren't? Good sign when the reader can't parse the basic events happening. Any other book I'd be annoyed, this one I'm just plowing through, comprehension be damned
