Sometimes, I find the idea of superheroes childish and silly, indeed. Batman is all-too human and he gets hurt a lot, almost killed often. Why can't Bruce Wayne just used his billions of resources to a private anti- crime organization of some sort than wage a one-man war against crime and evil? These were the early days, before Justice League.
