I do not know what is going on with our characters on Mars. I hope it isn't fatal. I have grown attached to them. Please let them make it back to earth. Please.

Oh, and the other Mars centric story that I've been thinking of...is For All Mankind TV series. Very interesting parallels.

As I'm reading this novel with The Grand Tour series by Ben Bova, I'm reminded of Andy Weir's book, The Martian, but it also reminds me of Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy. I'm enjoying the story, though the sexuality is odd. I really like Jamie and the two cosmonauts. I'm looking forward to how this is going to end. What is going to be the results of their Mars mission. 1/2

I really do NOT like the way the men in this series, and in this current story conduct themselves with the women. Their actions, especially Mr. Reed...are predatory and suspect. The protagonist of the story has his own issues (in this sense), but at least he receives hints, and backs off. 

Enjoying the adventure of Mars, though.
