I cannot stress too much the harmful lessons that a mother teaches her children when she has a generally non-submissive and disrespectful attitude toward her husband, or when she openly challenges his child-training decisions or instructions.

All of these extremes are imbalances.
The woman who is a slave to others;a woman who is excessive about housekeeping. The woman who is a slave to others believes that housekeeping is her job alone and she denies her children training in domestic chores. The third woman thinks that anything and everything else has higher priority than a clean house. She rarely trains her children in household duties.

There is no greater calling for a woman than the privilege of being a mother, but this privilege also carries grave responsibilities. A mother has elected to undertake a very demanding and time-consuming career. This career requires the same devotion and dedication as any other occupational choice. Children desperately need their mother's love, guidance, and protection…and spiritual needs.

I believe just one woman who understands biblical principles can begin with her own children and by training them in those principles can influence the revival of an entire nation.

Only a blend of two unique thinking patterns as well as other unique qualities of both the husband and wife will accomplish the oneness that God intends in a marriage.

Biblical women’s protection is NOT dependent on the character of your husband; it is secured by the character of God. When you submit to your husband you are actually living out your trust in God.
