While this story and these characters are intriguing and I love being in their heads, going into their psyche and all that, I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not this book is just nonsense or extremely deep...

What a weird book

"Love came to confirm all of the old things whose existence she only knew of without ever having accepted or felt them."

I like this book but wish it was a bit easier for me to read; it's a bit like molasses. I'm intrigued but it's tough.

I wish I read this in middle school, this gives me the same energy Lordes speech on youth/teenage years gives me. Theres some magic in here, I'm glad I'm pushing past the initial "hard to read" feeling...
