Status Updates From The Things We Keep

I’m halfway through but I don’t think I’m going to finish. It’s a good story but just incredibly sad and depressing which is not what I need to read right now. Maybe it would have been better 20-30 years ago, but not now. When every single character in a story is having a tragic time it’s tough.
