Things I noticed immediately upon opening this book that I somehow had not previously registered about it:
1. It's British (English, specifically); both set in England and by an English writer. I'm not quite sure how I didn't know this before.
2. It's also in first person. I'm used to mysteries being in first person, but I've never seen a medical thriller done in first person before. Going to be interesting.
