Status Updates From One Bad Apple (Orchard, #1)

I saw so many positive comments about this series. It is well written. The conversations flow naturally and seem realistic. The author gives you a sense of the characters emotions. However, this book was dull and unexciting to me. The characters sat around drinking coffee in almost every scene. There were no action scenes.
