Still interesting, but it's hard to take things seriously anymore. Especially when the "artist's renderings" start showing up. Don't get me wrong, they're great drawings... But it's hard to take them seriously.

Well, the initial creep factor has wound down. While the tale itself is still interesting, it's no longer freaking me out, and there are points where the book is repeating itself. Still, not a bad read so far.

Nope, nope, nope, nope. Awful idea to start reading this late at night with most of the lights off while my better half is at work and all the animals are asleep. Cheesy? Yes. Terrifying for no discernible reason? Certainly.

It's cheesy, especially when one factors in the related blog posts, but something about this book (and the story behind it) still gives me the heebie-jeebies.
