Part 2, Chapter 7

I figured that McMurdo was Mr. Douglas, but I did not realize that he was also Birdy Edwards! What a twist!

Part 2: Chapter 6 - Danger

I have a bad feeling about this.

Part 2: Chapter 4 - The Valley of Fear

I feel bad for Morris, and I think that McMurdo should take his warning; these are not good people to be getting into bed with, and now that McMurdo is involved with them. I don't think it will be easy to get out, seeing how much influence they have in town.

Part 2: Chapter 3 -Lodge 341, Vermissa

So this Baldwin is proving to be trouble, but we already knew that from part one. McMurdo is definitely putting himself on Baldwins shitlist too. I wonder if McMurdo is Mr. Douglas, because he hasn't shown up yet.

I feel that joining this organization was such a bad idea too.

Part 2: Chapter 2

These Scowrers do not seem to be people I would want to be around, but McMurdo seems to be there type of people. I'm also wondering where Mr. Douglas is in all of this.

Part 2: Chapter 1 - The Man

I think McMurdo is making a mistake; getting involved with this Scanlan.

Chapter 7 - The Solution

HE WASN'T DEAD! I would never have suspected that. I am glad to see that Mrs. Douglas and Mr. Barker had nothing to do with Mr. Douglas' murder.

I do look forward to reading about what happend in "The Valley of Fear"

Chapter 6 - A Dawning Light

So Mrs. Douglas and Mr. Barker are definitely involved somehow.

I wonder what Sherlock's words to Watson after coming into the room after his investigation mean.

Chapter 5 - The People of the Drama

So the bloodmark on the sill was made by Barker; I knew he was suspicious!! And Mrs. Douglas seems rather suspicious herself. Maybe she had something to do with it? Is it to do with Mr. Douglas being so jealous? And how does this secret society fit in?

Chapter 4 - Darkness

Finally! Sherlock is on the case. The possible secret society is where Moriarty is connected, I assume.

If the murderer had a bicycle, why did he leave it behind.

I have no theories yet.

Chapter 3 - The Tragedy of Birlstone

So we have brand on the victims arm and a missing wedding ring. Not much to collect from that, at least for me; surely Sherlock will deduce something.

I do find Mr. Barker somewhat suspicious. He seems to have an exact idea of how to murder took place.

I wonder how Moriarty will connect to all of this too.

A lot of talk about Moriarty.

Chapter 1 - The Warning

A Moriarty story! I enjoyed Holmes and Watson solving the cipher together.

I look forward to seeing the mystery to come!

The Hound of the Baskervilles

There were so many different pieces to this story, I was wondering how all of them would be wrapped up, but Conan Doyle managed to clear up almost all of it.

I would rate this 5/5, however, I wish there was more explanation on how Stapleton was planning on obtaining his inheritance, it seemed to be a afterthought in the story.

Overall, I would rate this 4.5/5.

Chapter 13 - Fixing the Nets

Things are kicking off! Stapleton is proving to be a treacherous man; his plot with Mrs. Lyons proves this!

And, I was not expecting his to be a Baskerville! This makes some sense of his actions!

Chapter 12 - Death on the Moor

I was right about it being Sherlock! My theory about the Mrs. Lyons was wrong, but this makes up for that.

Additonally, I knew that Stapleton was suspicious! He was planning on having Sir Henry killed that night; inviting him over then letting out the hound. Thankfully, Henry was smart and didn't go out. I wonder why he wants the Baskervilles dead? Hopefully we get our answers soon!

Chapter 11 - The Man on the Tor

So the Lyons has lead us nowhere, but Watson has found where the stranger on the moor is living. My guess, right now, is that it is Sherlock himself.

Still no progress on the mystery of the hound.

Chapter 10 - Extract from the Diary of Dr. Watson

So, Sir Charles had met with a woman with the initals L.L. on the night he died, and there is a woman named Laura Lyons living close by, in Coombe Tracey.

There is also a mysterious man who has been seen on the moor, whom has someone working for him, and probably is going to Coombe Tracey for his needs... suspisious.

I still have no clue as to the murderer.

Chapter 9 - The Light Upon The Moor [Second Report of Dr. Watson

I was not expecting that Mr. Barrymore was sneaking around to feed the escaped convict, Mrs. Barrymore's brother, but at least that is one mystery cleared up.

I am not sure of what I think about Mr. Stapleton's explaination of his reaction to Sir Henry and his sister. I feel there is more to his reaction than he says.

Chapter 8 - First Report of Dr. Watson

I see why 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' is so highly regarded. I usually try to guess the clue to the mystery, but so far I am stumped.

I very much look forward to seeing the truth to this!
