Status Updates From The Heirs of Lydin

There are lizard people!

Gotta say I like Bellaydin and Polnygar whom this book follows in parallel. Another good old-school read this one, with plenty of other characters playing supporting roles.

There's a great deal going on here, I'll be interested to see where certain characters alleigences lie.

Reached the half-way point with this now. Some of the names don't roll off the tongue as I would like (difficult to pronounce). I'm liking the story though and it will be interesting to see where it's going next.

The more I read of this, the gladder I am that I had the chance to read The Grey Mage as an introduction. It's nice to have some characters which are already stamped on my brain.

Another favourite from The Grey Mage has turned up. Enjoying this now, though the Eldara are a toffee-nosed lot!

Things have really started moving now. The Eldara (Elves) are an aloof race and the fact that one of them had relations with a human and spawned a halfbreed is not what their proud race wanted. What will be the result, I wonder?

Got a little further with this now. There are a lot of characters, some of which I remember from reading The Grey Mage.

Slow progress, sorry, I didn't get much chance for reading yesterday. Read the first chapter though and it sounds like I will get into it fairly quickly.
