Status Updates From Walk In The Woods

This author really wants you to believe that you tempt certain death every time you go outside either from vicious animals, deadly diseases, or poor Appalachians. He wants you to know just how much a brave manly man he is. Every time he starts in on how big and scary the AT is, all I can think of is how Grandma Gatewood hiked it at 67 with tennis shoes.

I shouldn’t have laughed at this line, but it came last after a seemingly never-ending list of ways to get hurt/sick/killed on the trail. 🤣
