Status Updates From Walt Disney's Donald Duck: ...

Not as remarkable or memorable stories as in the previous volume, but Carl Barks is still Carl Barks.

A couple obviously non-canon Scrooge stories. Barks used to admonish Don Rosa for even attempting to fit everything into anything resembling a cohesive story with beginning and ending and canon moments, and I can see where he's coming from.

You'd think the richest duck in the world would have some actually trustworthy employees to run his empire while he goes off to deal with the allergies. Still impressive how Donald managed to waste so much money in such a short time, though.

The first showing of the Beagle Boys. Didn't start out as nearly the iconic bunch of villains they'd turn out to be, but the story itself was funny.

Well, that was an odd inclusion in this "Donald Duck" collection! A "Grandma Duck" comic starring Jaq & Gus-Gus from "Cinderella" (who are apparently residents of Grandma Duck's attic these days).
