Finally, an explanation of the muddy beginning is offered and it's no wonder it's so indirect... Arthur basically loves Kay (aka his stepbrother) so much he allows him to put Guinevere at risk of getting raped by Meleagant. It's Gawain who has a problem with this situation. How stellar lol

Overall this is quite a nice little story but I'm so not used to reading in verse.
