I like that her character hasn’t changed much with age and neither has the narrative style. It’s also cool that she’s the same age as me but also weird because she has like a full time job.

Everyone always goes on about how perfect Gilbert Blythe is, but hardly anyone mentions what a good friend Diana is to Anne. If only everyone had a Diana!
