“We live in a world a men and there ain’t no good come out of tellin them they monsters. Makes em think they ain’t done nothin wrong, that it’s their nature and they can’t do nothin to change that. Calling em a monster makes em somethin different from the rest of us, but they ain’t. They just men, flesh and bone and blood. Baduns, truth, but men all the same.” THANK YOU BETH LEWIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear I’m gonna finish this book. Even if it takes me a full year. It is so good and every time I pick it up, I don’t wanna put it down!!! I just noticed that all the main characters are named after animals and the main villain is “Trapper” like that’s so fun….. the one character who isn’t obviously an animal name is “Penelope” which I looked up and it means “duck” sooooo!!!!!
