Fizzy is happy that her mom is seeing her side of things. I also think Fizzy is getting closer with keene. I think this shows that fizzy is going to start liking Keene.

In the book Fizzy is talking with her mom and had a realization that Fizzy feels like she is like “leftovers”. In the book the author writes " And if mom was starting fresh, then that means I'm leftovers, doesn't it? Yes, I was a leftover from her previous attempt and marriage and a family.” page. 88 This shows that Fizzy is realizing that her mom wants to start new.

Bonus: FIzzy is not really happy with the fact that her mom is getting remarried. In the text the author States " there's nothing you or anyone else could ever do that would make me love you any less.” I think that busy is scared that her mom was love her new husband more than she loves fizzy.
