Really enjoying this short story collection.

I love Jonmarc and I love the chronicles of the necromancer but these stories aren't working as a book, sometimes I wonder what happened to Gail Z Martin, her recent books lack lots of editing

I need to remind myself at the beginning of a new chapter that this was a serial because it is really annoying to have all the background and character descriptions thrown again and again.

Such imagination and skill at storytelling...

Great writing, interesting tale. The only drawback is that it reads like a novel on kindle, but is actually a series of short stories so the normal repetition of detail you expect in stories published at different times and places stands out painfully read end to end. I think this would have been better served if the stories had been novelized, and the repetition thinned out.
