Status Updates From Castlevania II: Simon Quest...

This is the second book in the series I’m going through . The first one was about Metal Gear and sadly a bit too “child oriented” for an adult fan 😅 Nothing wrong with that I guess given that was the intended audience at the time . This book however is a much more exciting and well written experience. Almost half way through so far and it’s already a much better experience than the previous book .

The pop culture references are so bad. They feel like they were just tossed in there to be relatable, and they miss the mark by a mile.

The most horrible creatures in existence, defeated by a few bad jokes and puns. Makes perfect sense. *rolls eyes*

Good monsters have names ending in 'ie' while bad monsters have names ending in 'y'? Ugh.

So bad. This whole thing is just so bad.

Yes, because we all know that above sunlight and garlic, Dracula's true weakness is puns. *shakes head*
