hard going--written like a PhD; the author is a professor at St. John's University. The book looks to be interesting, but is definably a text book of high level. I expect to understand Lymond, and certainly will learn the more about structures of writing. I wish the book was written in a lighter way, with less compound sentences of paragraph epics.

Once the discussion uses the actual characters it's getting more interesting.
