This book is SO psychologically juicy. I’ve gone from mistrusting to trusting to mistrusting Rachel again. Phil is a loon and his detective work is now only motivated by his hurt at being romantically rejected. Earlier he was like “wellll maybe Rachel killed my cousin, but frankly I’d rather not know cuz I’m really into her and I think she’s into me too.” Oh Phil, I feel this romance induced delusion arc

I hope the ending is: Rachel is totally harmless and honest and cool and Philip is a raving paranoid maniac. I love the mindfuck of this book
