Shouoto continues to expand this plot in fun ways. It's clear she's steering towards the climax of the story, but I know what's coming isn't actually the true ending.
With the added background on the Black Rose Prince and Rose Princess introduced last volume, Mutsuki and Anise's romantic chemistry is getting complicated. Anise also continues not to hold what Idel and Yako were responsible for against them.

Mutsuki has been given a special collar from the gray rose and Mutsuki has accepted it. He has betrayed Anise and stole her first kiss. Ella has been taking Yako's power and putting people to sleep in the void. She is stealing the blood from the innocent and taking everything away from the innocent and using the gray rose to zombify them. The Black Rose has switched sides and wants Anise to be his.
