This series, highly recommended by a friend, was a slow starter for me. But having finally sorted out the royal family tree and figured out which scandals were likely to apply to which prince, I'm getting along better. And yet-- would this be considered alternate history? Or is it rather a novelization of the current theories on the death of Victoria's grandson? That's the real mystery for this reader.
