I wish I had read this book 30 years ago. Dr Rahula offers an approach to Buddhism and life that is so fresh considering that it's 2500 years old, it's awe inspiring. The teaching we normally get from Buddhist writing is for monks from monks and if you're not a monk, you feel left out. This book and it's companion volume, Beautiful Living are wonderful.
