Ahh...I misinterpreted "chilling effect" - wasn't sensationalizing at all but describing an actual effect. I had never really thought about actually defining privacy - not as easy as I would have thought.

This is a much more scholarly book than I expected. It's not a bad thing, I like challenging reading now and again (even though I can tell I'm missing some arguments because of my lack of law knowledge)...but really, how many times in one chapter can you use the phrase "chilling effects"
