Status Updates From Chinese Handcuffs

I hate this book so much.

The principle and the vice principle are talking about Dillon's shirt. The vice principle was saying that there had been 3 suicides.

Dillon checks on Jen to make sure she is ok. Jen says "I don't know if I want to play basketball anymore".

Preston is talking to stacy about how much conflict he has been in. and he is drawn to two girls.

Dillon continues his fight with the teacher and it gets really personal. He leaves school and heads to his friend's house.

Jen gets threatened by her dad to not talk about him sexually assaulting her.Dillon gets in an arguement with the track coach in the middle of lunch.

Dillon is very attracted by Jenifer and herstuffed animals.

The word I chose for this book is change. Dillon had to change by leaving Preston for a few years, but even though he came back to him, Preston changed and was a lot more angry. Jenifer was a girls basketball player for her high school and she got injured really bad, and she is having to change her life for a bit since she is stuck in a hospital.

Preston is talking to a girl about what life would have been if they were together.

Jenifer's grandpa dies while slouched over. and Preston's friend sends him a letter telling him all his faults.
