Uh oh my professor is having us skip two chapters, if i want to have this count towards my goodreads goal i’ll have to make myself go back and read them 😅

They establish a well documented basis for the need to study religious behaviors using a rational basis if accurate models are going to be produced, rather than framing religion as irrational, which would leave many questions unanswered under the umbrella of the futility of understanding something irrational.

So far separates atheism from sociology, which is a great move, and well documented with references to early sociologists who were more keen on atheism than sociology. We'll see where this goes.
