Ali sedeti sa tobom, samo sa tobom, ovde u Londonu u ovoj sobi obasjanoj vatrom, ti tu, ja ovde, znači sve. Ovaj svet opustošen do krajnjih granica, čije su sve visine ogoljene i lišene cveća, nema više šta da mi pruži…
… Ali čim se ti pojaviš, sve se promeni… Nema nikakve sumnje da se ovaj naš bedan život, ovaj naš neugledan život, oblači u sjaj i dobija pun smisao samo pod okom ljubavi. 🫶

In my own writing, I’ve noticed how often I describe the lighting. It’s forever changing shape and color, which makes them reliable subjects, but I worry they are too boring to write so much about. Reading Woolf’s constant descriptions of light and color really help me understand that they are a good muse.
