Status Updates From Fade Rippers (Galefire, #1)

Yet another talented author found thanks to the grimdark podcast! Really enjoying the uniqueness so far. Very...interesting magic system haha.

So far not bad at all. I can all ready tell this isn't something I would usually read but I am determined to finish it. The way the book is designed is a little odd. Very tall and quite narrow, I feel like it can afford to be smaller in height and thicker in width, just to get away from that kind of 'script' vibe it gives off.

So far this book kind of sucks!

So this one has gone from guns, dragons, vampires, and magic to a depressing look at drug abuse and fractured memories.

OK, I have roughly no idea what is happening. Gun fights, electric demons, drugs, dreams of dragons.... no idea.

Taking a quick break from Red Queen's War to read Kenny Soward's Galefire 1 because I was supposed to read it when it first released and didn't because I'm a slacker.
