I thought the android featured in this Little Mermaid retelling would be Iko, but apparently it’s not. Which has me worried, because if it’s not a main character then the character might be disposable. The canon story resulted in happy endings all around, so unfortunately this would be the perfect place for Meyer to add some tragedy.
