I just have to laugh heartily at the fact Spook's language is now considered "High Imperial" speech. It makes me giggle every time I read a line. Era 1 characters became legends in the 300 years since and it is so much fun.

An interesting beginning, glad to see our cast of characters is going strong, be it with some....differences from the last book in their relations, however it makes it all the more intriguing as to how things are going to play out from now on.

Also - hats.

I am silly for not being patient enough to let Sanderson work, the entire first novel makes sense now.

Really enjoying this series!! I am having to skim through certain parts of the original Mistborn trilogy and look things up, which I find fun. All the lore is cool.
