Although from a philosophical standpoint you could make the argument that the protagonist of this book is evolution, or maybe life in general. Either way this is a great book with a lot of interesting and cool things.

GENRE: The genre of this book is science fiction/realistic fiction. The book is about speculative evolution and the history of animals after mankind goes extinct. This is a great book.

SETTING: This book takes place 50 Million years in the future. After the extinction of man in this book animals grow and evolve to rule the planet. It switches from place to place worldwide across all the continents, habitats, environments, and oceans.

I love this book it is a zoology of future creatures 50 Million years in the future so far this book has given a summary of the evolutionary process in order for the reader to understand how evolution works since this is necessary information to completely understand this book.
